Affordable airport report: Entry#1 Pret a Manger Stansted Airport UK

Have you ever arrived at the airport, with a couple of hours to spare, but you’re so tired all you want to do is to sit down with a cup of coffee and relax, and a cup of coffee costs £3, so you just sit down without a cup of coffee and watch other people going by holding paper coffee cups in their hands…

I don’t know about you, but it happens to me all the time. And that is why I am going to start this affordable airport report. Hopefully there will be plenty more entries to come and help improve other budget travellers’ airport experiences.

We found ourselves in London Stansted airport in December 2017 and in the same old ‘we can really do with a cup of coffee now’ situation. And of course a simple cup of coffee cost over £2 in many cafes. I was mentally preparing myself for a long cup-of-coffee-less 2 hours… Luckily however, it was not necessary.

I will now proudly introduce the honourable first entry to our affordable airport report (drum roll please) …
